My Quantum Mind - Part 1
Ever heard of quantum superposition? If not, let me explain it to you. And I am afraid that I might have to bring up the deadliest game- which had cost me, ahh, let's say a great amount of my honor- Truth or Dare.
What is Quantum Superposition?
In this game, you have to choose either Truth or dare, right? You won't have other choices. You might want to, but you can't. Your friends will call you a coward, like my friends did. So there are only two options. And there isn't anything between truth and dare. You have to tell one truth that you never told anyone, or you have to do something that your friends insist on.
Our analog computers are based on this idea. 0 & 1. Nothing between them. Just like the output of the game. But Quantum computers work differently. They can think about the answer. It's like your mind. You know you have to pick either truth or dare. However, you can think about other choices. You can't say, but you can think.
When you input something into a quantum computer, it can process the data as it please. The data state can be 0 or 1, or it can be 0 & 1 at the same time. We address this situation as a quantum superposition. We can also understand this by the game's predictions.
Jeezzz... Come Back to the point dumbhead...
Ok, ok, back to the topic. Why I am defining our mind as a Quantum system? Look, carefully. We, human beings, always think about things in the same way. We also think about that in two states. If someone asks me to do something, the first thing I would think, should I help him or not? We definitely don't say yes before having that thought in our minds. Nobody does. We think about these two states. Then think about the outcome of these two states and then again might think about the outcomes outcomes of these two states. We question ourselves, why is he asking me and what that would bring me. But, after a lot of controversies happening in our mind we finally give either a two-word or a three-word answer.
So, the point is, someone asks you a question, you fell into the void of confusions. Someone said you something, you think about how you should approach this topic. Everything that is happening, is coated by controversies. Why? Do we create them or does this happen because of our consciousness is made of something that is also controversial. Will quantum conscious define this or not? That's where one part of today's topic concludes.
For your information, this quantum mind topic is not a new idea ( you guys might think that I am a genius developing a completely new theory, you know geniuses think of them as that way). Eugene Wigner developed the idea that quantum mechanics has to do something with human consciousness and how we think and choose wisely. However, many of the scholars still don't agree with this hypothesis. They view this as a portration of some useless idea. Lets not talk about this today.
What's the point of publishing this as your first post? :|
Now, there are a lot of facts why I brought up this controversial topic today. See, controversy everywhere. Thats the thing that encouraged me to open this blog. I, as a person, always feel that I am in a void surrounded by two magnetic pole continuously attracting me at the same force. I am confused about my perspectives, my oriententions, me beliefs and what not. While I was researching about quantum computing, the idea of quantum superposition and quantum computation methods intrigued me. That's when my mind blowed up with the idea of Our Quantum mind. How we think differently every time. How we have controversies in our own mind.
That's when I decided to start this blog as a love (you know what I mean) token for my dumb mind, as of now, minds. I like to define this situation as two state of my mind which never crosses each other. I always choose one of them, not both. I would like to call them my parallel minds. MY Parallel MINDS. As they are a part of me, my neurons. But, they just don't play along. They just don't meet each other, cross each other. They just stay on their parallel way, forever. Just like parallel lines. Again, there mustn't be two state always. There might be two, three, four or even more. Different opinions branches like the wave of sea. Hit the shore one after another. Never try to clash.
This is my personal blog. This is the starting of my neurons quantum story. This is the procrastinator Samin and thank you for reading.
